Wireless Innovation
Wireless Innovation is Scotland's National Centre for Wireless and Mobile Technologies and is a Scottish Enterprise National Initiative which supports companies along all points in the mobile and wireless value chain.
Supporting over 140 companies across Scotland, Wireless Innovation provides expert market knowledge in areas such as Mobile applications and content, Machine 2 Machine (M2M) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
We have developed strong commercial partnerships with global players
including BT, Agilent, Nokia, Vodafone, Microsoft, Symbol, Orange, and
T-Mobile which we introduce to Scottish companies developing wireless and mobile technologies.
Our state of the art lab facility, located within the Hillington Park
Innovation Centre, offers Scottish developers the opportunity to test and demonstrate their mobile and wireless applications across the range of technologies.

Kelvin Institute
The Kelvin Institute is committed to maximising the commercial potential of innovative university research.
Formed in 2003 in partnership with the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde and Scottish Enterprise, we work closely with our partners to identify research projects on which exciting new commercial products and technologies can be based.
We bring researchers to the Institute to collaborate with our in-house
experts, combining their deep academic knowledge with rigorous commercial development standards and processes. The resulting products can be licensed to partners or support the generation of new spin-out companies.
Our aim is to transform the ground-breaking research taking place at
Strathclyde University and Glasgow University today into high-value
